In reply to Youareanidiot. Give Bridge credit where due. He handled Calgary’s impressive line pressure way better than Glenn has in two games against Calgary. Glenn is our vet starter, but Bridge is far more athletic and mobile and the better QB to play Calgary. He may not have thrown a bunch of TDS but he managed the yardage really well.

Bridge wasn’t all that impressive. The only offensive TD followed the Gainey INT, which was returned to the 3 yard line. And the TD was a result of three hand offs. Bridge led drives yielded 2 FG, 2 INT and a few punts. Yes, he did escape pressure and extend a few drives but at face value, it was a mediocre efforts the Defense ans Special Teams won this game.

Glenn was “benched” when Bridge went in (again). That’s not benching, that’s 1A 1B strategy.
