Kevin Glenn has been sent to the bench in favour of Canadian quarterback Brandon Bridge.
The veteran pivot started the game 1-for-3 for 19 yards and got sacked twice. Calgary made him uncomfortable early.
Bridge has been directly responsible for two Saskatchewan wins in 2017. Back in Week 13 “Air Canada” started and beat the Tiger-Cats in Hamilton, passing for 231 yards and three touchdowns. Then in Week 16 Bridge came off the pine and finished 20-of-28 for 292 yards and two touchdowns, leading a 13-point comeback win against Toronto.
