Yeah Paul Bomber, it is a sad state of affairs. It is a responsible thing to do but I’m not sure that I agree with it just yet. This is a very slippery slope…what’s next, razor wire? Maybe it’s a new reality, but I choose to not live in fear nor alter my lifestyle otherwise terrorism does in fact, win. Without a doubt we all need to be more vigilant now but the unexpected can and usually does occur. And let’s face it, most North Americans are oblivious to what’s going on around them. Puts the game of football in perspective after the events of the last week.

… know someone is going to rip my head off (again), so let me amend my statement: I failed (miserably) here: far and away the most deadly attack in Canadian history was IED on the Air India bombing. I guess I was more just thinking about recent incidents.

The terrorist attacks in Canada have involved “ancient” clunky rifles (parliament hill attach), knifes and vehicles. Scary as hell, but glad these people aren’t able to head down to Wallmart and basically buy a machine gun.
