Canadian offensive lineman Alaric Jackson signs with Los Angeles Rams

Canadian offensive lineman Alaric Jackson has signed with the Los Angeles Rams. The news was first reported by Justin M of The Draft Network.

The Windsor, Ont. native was named to the All-Big Ten first team following his senior season. He went unselected in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Jackson was a four-year starter in the NCAA. He was one of nine seniors part of the leadership group for the University of Iowa inn 2020. In total, Jackson made 42 career starts, all at left tackle, starting every game he played in during his career for the Hawkeyes.

Jackson checked in at six-foot-five and 321 pounds at his Iowa pro day. He clocked a 5.38 second forty-yard dash, 4.97 second shuttle and 7.70 three-cone, while posting a 25-inch vertical, eight-foot, seven-inch broad jump and 20 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press.

He played guard at the Senior Bowl in January, the top showcase event for senior NFL Draft prospects, and drew moderate reviews.
