The Edmonton Football Team has signed of National long snapper Zach Greenberg, securing a potential replacement for the retired Ryan King.
Greenberg attended the University of Minnesota Crookston from 2015 from 2017 where he served as the team’s long snapper and short snapper. The five-foot-eleven, 220-pound specialist is originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba and spent time on the Blue Bombers roster in 2019.
Veteran long-snapper Ryan King retired earlier this month after eight seasons with the club. He played in 122 games, making 36 special teams tackles while forcing one fumble. King won a Grey Cup with Edmonton in 2015.
