Canadian offensive lineman Vincent Roy has decided to retire from professional football.
The 26-year-old Roy was selected in the sixth round, 53rd overall by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the 2019 CFL Draft. He attended training camp with the Riders and afterwards spent the year playing his final collegiate season.
Prior to entering the CFL, the Granby, Quebec native played four U Sports seasons at the University of Sherbrooke. The six-foot-five, 285-pound Roy started his career as a defensive lineman before making the switch to the offensive line in 2018.
