The Calgary Stampeders have inked their first pick in the 2020 CFL Draft.
Isaac Adeyemi-Berglund was a star over three seasons at Southeastern Louisiana University, recording 135 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, 15 sacks, six forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, 11 quarterback hurries and 10 pass breakups.
The native of Dartmouth, N.S. is expected to compete at defensive end and defensive tackle for the Stamps, who traditionally start a Canadian interior defender.
At six-foot-two and 250 pounds, Adeyemi-Berglund has the versatility, athleticism, and intellect to become an impact player.
