The Ottawa Redblacks have re-signed veteran defensive backs Adbul Kanneh and Corey Tindal. Both players were scheduled to become free agents next month.
Kanneh, 30, played his first three CFL seasons with Ottawa (2014-16), winning a Grey Cup and earning two East Division all-star nods. He rejoined the Redblacks in February 2020 as a free agent after stints in Hamilton (2017) and Toronto (2018-19).
The strong-side linebacker has recorded 250 career tackles with 14 interceptions, seven sacks and seven forced fumbles.

Tindal, 29, has spent his entire four-year CFL career with the Redblacks. He started fifteen games last season at the all-important boundary halfback position, making 64 tackles and one forced fumble.
The Marshall product has recorded 208 total tackles in his career along with three sacks, three forced fumbles, and two interceptions.
CFL free agency is scheduled to open on Tuesday, February 9 at noon ET.
