The Edmonton Football Team extended two Americans on Friday, signing linebacker Jonathan Walton and quarterback Troy Williams through the 2022 season.
Walton emerged in 2019 as a top special teams player for the EE Football Team. In nine game, the former South Carolina Gamecock recorded 14 total tackles, with 11 of them being on special teams.
Troy Williams was originally signed by the EE Football Team after spending parts of the 2018 season with the Seattle Seahawks. The Utah Utes product appeared in his first professional game in Week 18 and rushed for 18 yards and nine carries. Williams has appeared in two games and has recorded 1-3 passes (33.3%) for 15 yards and one interception. He also has 11 carries for 26 yards.
