Former Saskatchewan Roughriders’ safety Glen Suitor has changed stations in Regina.

Suitor started at 980 CJME in 1991 when he was hired as sports director and a morning co-host. Since then Suitor had appeared regularly on The Green Zone.

The 58-year-old Suitor shared the news on social media:

Very excited to be joining the SportsCage team in Regina as a regular contributor every Monday and Thursday.

It ends a nearly 30-year long run for Suitor at CJME as he joins the Riders’ radio rights holder. SportsCage host Derek Taylor is the radio play-by-play voice of the Green and White, a role he’s held since March 2019.

Suitor played for the Riders from 1984 to 1994 and won a Grey Cup with Saskatchewan in 1989. He was a three-time CFL all-star and four-time West Division all-star while finishing among the CFL’s all-time leaders in interceptions with 51.

After retiring from playing, Suitor joined TSN as a full-time game analyst in 1995.
