Every mainstream news outlet in the United States projected on Saturday that Joe Biden had defeated Donald J. Trump in the 2020 presidential election.

Trump held a lead on election day, claiming in his early Wednesday morning press conference that he had won. After several days spent counting mail-in ballots in swing states such as Nevada, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Georgia, it was determined that Biden was the winner.
