The native of Pickering, Ont. made an interception late in the first quarter of Saturday’s game against the University of Kansas. The video shows how he was able to read the eyes of quarterback Miles Kendrick and work under the zone to force the turnover.

Addae was given the Mountaineers’ turnover helmet for his efforts.

Addae entered Saturday’s game with 25 total tackles, two knockdowns, and one interception. He’s showing why he was the eleventh-ranked player in 3DownNation‘s initial ranking of 2021 draft prospects.

Addae made three tackles to go along with his interception in West Virginia’s 38-17 victory. He has 16 solo tackles, 12 assisted tackles, two pass break-ups and two interceptions through four games in 2020.

The Mountaineers improve to 3-1 and play Texas Tech University next Saturday, October 24.
