Receiver Ricky Collins Jr. has decided to try the NFL after posting a career-high 1,103 yards and three touchdowns in 2019. The four-year veteran is signed through February 2022, which means he will have to return to Edmonton if he does not remain under contract down south.

The 28-year-old has spent time with Winnipeg, Saskatchewan, B.C., and Edmonton through his CFL career. He was in training camp with the Green Bay Packers in 2015 following his tenure at Texas A&M–Commerce but was released on an injury settlement.
Collins Jr. became one of Trevor Harris’ favourite targets in 2019. He’ll look to parlay that success into an NFL contract in the near future.
