The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have signed former NFL defensive back Brandon Bryant.

The 24-year-old Bryant spent time with the New York Jets in 2018 and 2019 after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent.

The six-foot, 215-pound native of Tunica, Mississippi appeared in 38 games at safety from 2015 to 2017 at Mississippi State University. Bryant registered 157 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 quarterback sacks, five interceptions, 12 passes defended and one forced fumble. He returned one of his interceptions 73 yards for a touchdown with the Bulldogs in a game against Louisiana Tech in 2015.
