The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed former National Football League defensive back Damian Swann.
Swann was selected in the fifth round, 167th overall during the 2015 NFL Draft by New Orleans. He spent two seasons with the Saints, playing in seven games with two starts, registering 22 tackles and four pass knock downs.
The Atlanta native spent four seasons at the University of Georgia prior to being drafted into the NFL. During four seasons with the Bulldogs, Swann made 180 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, defended 16 passes, grabbed eight interceptions, forced four fumbles and recovered one.
