Bo Levi Mitchell has been picked off.

Not an interception but instead a thief stole Mitchell’s 2018 Grey Cup championship and Most Outstanding Player rings from his truck.

According to police, the truck was parked in a parking lot at the 3500 block of 8th Avenue N.E. in Calgary on January 2 when the rings were stolen.

“Given the uniqueness of these rings, it is highly likely that someone in our community knows where they are or will come across them,” Cst. Sean Lynn said in a statement.

“These rings represent more than just a piece of jewelry, they represent significant accomplishments and we would all like to see them returned to the rightful owner.”

Mitchell capped that stellar season by leading the Stamps to a CFL championship after avoiding the knife for a shoulder injury. He became the first player in league history to throw for more than 5,000 yards without having a single receiver record 1,000 yards. Despite an ever-changing receiving corps, Mitchell adapted on the fly and still led the CFL in touchdown passes with 35.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the rings is asked to contact the Calgary Police Service by calling 403-266-1234.
