The Edmonton Eskimos have released American defensive lineman Kendal Vickers to pursue an opportunity in the NFL.

Vickers played 12 games for the Esks in 2019 recording 12 tackles, two sacks and one forced fumble.

After going unselected in the 2018 NFL draft, Vickers inked an undrafted free agent contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He made one tackle in four pre-season games prior to being released at the end of training camp.
