Nick Arbuckle is going from Cowtown to the Big Apple.

Arbuckle will be attending a workout with the New York Giants on December 23 following a strong season behind Bo Levi Mitchell.

The 26-year-old posted a 4-3 win-loss record during his seven-game stint while Mitchell recovered from injury. He completed 174-of-238 passes for 2,103 yards with 11 touchdowns against five interceptions and ran 27 times for 76 yards and four majors.

Arbuckle is a pending free agent who has expressed interest in becoming a starting quarterback in the CFL.

New York is 2-11 this season with rookie pivot Daniel Jones serving as a first-year starter.

The first-round pick has thrown for 2,374 yards, 18 touchdowns and 11 interceptions this season while two-time Super Bowl champion Eli Manning has served as the backup. 32-year-old journeyman Alex Tanney is the club’s third-stringer.

Ryan Dinwiddie was hired as the new head coach of the Argonauts on Thursday, which led to speculation that Arbuckle could be Toronto-bound. Dinwiddie most recently served as the quarterbacks coach in Calgary where he and Arbuckle built a close working relationship.

Arbuckle may still end up in Toronto, but only if the Giants don’t sign him first.
