The Toronto Argonauts won’t be retaining offensive coordinator Jacques Chapdelaine.

Chapdelaine was hired by head coach Corey Chamblin last February. The Argos scored the second-lowest amount of points in the CFL (373), but McLeod Bethel-Thompson led the league in touchdown passes (26) in Chapdelaine’s scheme.

The 58-year-old was the head coach of the Montreal Alouettes from September 2016 to September 2017. He was relieved of his duties following a 3-8 start to the season.

Previously, Chapdelaine served as offensive coordinator with Calgary, B.C., Edmonton, and Saskatchewan. He’s been part of three Grey Cup champion teams, 2001 (Stampeders) and 2006 and 2011 (Lions).
