Don Cherry endeared himself to Saskatchewan by wearing a green Roughriders jacket on Hockey Night in Canada in Regina.
The Calgary Flames and Winnipeg Jets played at Mosaic Stadium Saturday night after it was transformed from a football field to hockey rink for the Heritage Classic. It’s the first ever neutral site regular season outdoor NHL game.

Cherry is known for his colourful suits and chose the proper colour for being in the prairies. And the 85-year-old is admittedly a CFL fan.
Riders head coach Craig Dickenson picked a hockey team from his green and white players, wonder what Cherry thinks of the lineup.
