Rainey is normally a dynamic return man and offensive weapon, but he turned from hunted to hunter in destroying Romick. The 31-year-old has 58 punt returns for 590 yards and one touchdown, 56 kick-off returns for 1,140 yards, 45 carries for 220 yards and 18 catches for 134 yards during his first season in Toronto.

Known for his ability with the football, Rainey displayed the ability to be a defender if needed, however, the helmet placement would need to change on future tackles.
