Calgary Stampeders defensive back Tre Roberson won’t play against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in Week 19.

The head injury was sustained during the Stamps’ win over Saskatchewan in Week 17. Roberson is an elite cover man who has made 40 tackles while snatching seven interceptions, recovering two fumbles and scored two defensive touchdowns in 15 games. His seven pilfers rank are the second most in the CFL, Bombers DB Winston Rose leads the way with eight interceptions.
Roberson’s ability, anticipation and ball skills are high end and difficult to replace.
