Riders’ Cody Fajardo hopes vehicle thief has a ‘great Thanksgiving with new gifts’

Roughriders quarterback Cody made light of his vehicle being broken into and possessions stolen.

Saturday night while Fajardo was asleep in his Regina home the bandit struck. It must have been a Winnipeg Blue Bombers fan because with the rise to stardom Fajardo has earned and experienced in Saskatchewan throughout 2019, no Rider supporter would take from the new face of the franchise.

Fajardo, as he’s shown consistently during his time as the starter at QB, handled the incident with class. Only endearing himself more with the green and white faithful. Nobody deserves to have their belongings taken.

Church was about having an attitude of gratitude, with that being said, no matter what happened this morning it’s always a blessing to wake up, be healthy, and to be playing a game that I love for a wonderful province. Let’s finish this year off strong #ridernation

Saskatchewan should be thankful for Fajardo who wants to stay long-term in the prairies.
