A highly touted free agent addition will finally see the field in Edmonton’s must-win game against the B.C. Lions.
WILL linebacker Jovan Santos-Knox came to the Eskimos after a breakout season with the Blue Bombers but has spent the season on the injured list thanks to a nagging foot injury.

“It’s been a long journey, definitely a test of my patience, but overall, I just think it made me a hungrier, better person. I don’t think I figured out how much I love this game until I went through this little thing.” said the defensive playmaker.
Santos-Knox was added to the lineup last week, before becoming a late scratch against Hamilton. This week there will be no question as to whether he will see action as the Eskimos attempt to clinch a playoff spot.
“I’ve been itching all year to get out here, so it’s great to be able to come in during such an important time for this team and hopefully make an impact.”
Santos-Knox will replace productive rookie Vontae Diggs at the position and could provide a difference maker for a desperate Eskimos’ squad.
