Alouettes quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. made the trip to the left coast with Montreal.
#BCLions vs #Alouettes now @CFLonTSN & @TSN1040. If youre wondering where Vernon Adams is watching this game – he’s in Vancouver. @cfl allowed him travel on the team charter but he cant be in the stadium. Watching in town & will stay out west for an extra day.

Adams Jr. was suspended one game by the CFL for swinging a helmet at the face of Winnipeg Blue Bombers linebacker Adam Bighill.

The discipline was issued by CFL commissioner Randy Ambrosie following a telephone hearing with Adams and representatives of the Canadian Football League Players’ Association.
The play saw Bighill block Adams on an interception return. Adams responded by pulling Bighill to the ground by his facemask, resulting in his opponent’s helmet being forcefully removed.
In addition to being a non-football play, the league deemed the act to be reckless and dangerous. Adams can only watch the Als game against the B.C. Lions in Week 16.
