Montreal Alouettes defensive back Tommie Campbell made a sorry excuse for an attempt to tackle Bombers’ star running back Andrew Harris.
ANDREW HARRIS 🐐🐐🐐.
He's back in a big way for the @Wpg_BlueBombers on #CFLGameDay.

Campbell grabs Harris’ jersey with one hand, spins him around and lets go. Winnipeg’s ball carrier broke free of the weak effort, resulting in a 74-yard catch and run play that led to a Bombers touchdown.
That drew quite reaction from CFL followers:
Not sure what was more wild there: Andrew Harris' determination to score or Tommie Campbell's lack of effort to make the tackle. #Bombers #MontreALS #CFL

What the hell was Tommie Campbell doing there? Did he forget how to tackle?

Tommie Campbell should lose his job over that pathetic attempt to tackle

Tommie Campbell looked like he was trying to ballroom dance with Harris instead of tackle him. That was ugly.

Tommie Campbell put zero effort into defense on that. Embarassing

The leader of the Als defence, John Bowman was vocal about Harris’ positive drug test and subsequent suspension entering the matchup on Saturday afternoon. Harris wanted to make Montreal eat their words about him and the Canadian did so with one play.
Campbell is known as an elite cover man, but the tackling and effort has to be better from a player of his calibre.
