The Tiger-Cats are the first franchise in the Canadian Football League to clinch a playoff spot.
Hamilton beat Edmonton 30-27 Friday night on a last second field goal by Lirim Hajrullahu.
The Ticats are assured of hosting a playoff game in Hamilton for the sixth time in the last seven seasons (2013-2019). Hamilton holds first place in the East Division with a 10-3 record. The Tabbies will finish the 2019 regular season no worse than second place in the division.
Hamilton will host either the Eastern Semi-Final Sunday, November 10 at 1 p.m. or the Eastern Final Sunday, November 17 at 1 p.m. at Tim Hortons Field.
