A high CFL draft pick has become a casualty of NFL training camp cuts.

Mathieu Betts was cut by the Bears during Friday’s roster pair down.

Betts was the lone member of the 2019 CFL draft class to participate in an NFL training camp. The former Laval star signed with the Bears as an undrafted free agent back in April.
