Sorry, Bombers fans — S.J. Green has not been traded to your favorite team.
The veteran receiver caused a stir on social media on Tuesday night when he posted an Instagram photo from IG Field in Winnipeg.

According to multiple sources, no trade involving Green has been executed between the Argos and Bombers.
The Bombers pursued Green before last year’s trade deadline but were unable to get a deal done, which fueled some of the speculation regarding the player’s post.
The location of an Instagram photo can be edited. Green is not in Winnipeg — the photo he posted was taken when the two teams played at IG Field last month.
Toronto traded Shawn Lemon earlier this week and, with veteran salaries soon to become guaranteed, it’s not hard to imagine the Argos parting ways with the 34-year-old slotback.
Green has recorded 31 receptions for 366 yards and one touchdown this season. Ironically, the two-time CFL all-star’s lone score clinched Toronto’s first win of the season over the Bombers two weeks ago.
The twelve-year veteran is just 451 receiving yards shy of 10,000 for his career.
