Ticats’ Frankie Williams chokes Lions’ Duron Carter, hit with fine from the CFL

Duron Carter would have been laughing at Frankie Williams if he wasn’t being choked out.

Carter clearly got under the skin of Hamilton’s defensive back and explosive return man in the fourth quarter at Tim Hortons Field. WWE was just down the QEW for SummerSlam in Toronto at Scotiabank Arena and Williams could’ve been involved the way he grabbed Carter’s throat.

Williams was called for unnecessary roughness and assessed a 15-yard penalty on the play.
