Riders move Mike Davis from front office to defensive line coach

Saskatchewan has made Mike Davis the Riders’ defensive line coach.

Davis moved from his former role as the manager of player personnel to oversee the defensive line. It’s the fourth season Davis has been with the Riders. 

Head coach Craig Dickenson relieved former DL coach Mike Scheper of his defensive line coaching duties in late July.

Chris Jones originally hired Davis in 2016. Prior to coming north of the border, Davis led the Nebraska Danger to three Intense Conference championships between 2011 and 2016. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech University.
