It appears the Saskatchewan Roughriders will be without one of their best national players for awhile.
Zack Evans was added to the six-game injured list Monday due to a hip injury sustained in Saskatchewan’s 24-19 victory over Hamilton.
“We’re going to six-game him and hopefully get him healed up for the stretch run,” head coach Craig Dickenson said.

Veteran defensive tackle Makana Henry will likely start in Evans’ absence with 2019 fifth-round draft pick Charbel Dabire rotating as needed.
Evans has four tackles and one sack in seven games this season. The Regina native is a key piece of a dominant Roughrider defensive line that has generated fifteen sacks from its front four alone.
