The Montreal Alouettes have signed returner Shakier Ryan to a contract through the end of the 2019 season.
Ryan played in two games last season, one with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and another for the B.C. Lions. He returned nine punts for 39 yards and 12 kick-offs for 308 yards, including a 104-yard touchdown in his CFL debut.
Veteran Stefan Logan had been handling the return duties for Montreal, but he was released last week following the Kavis Reed firing.
