The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed national defensive back Dondre Wright.
Wright was the Montreal Alouettes third-round, 20th overall choice in the 2017 CFL draft. He played 27 games for the Alouettes making 59 tackles.
The 25-year-old registered 45 tackles and 12 more on special teams as a standout rookie, but played in just nine games last season and failed to record a defensive take down.
Defensive back Dondre Wright, added to the #Bombers’ practice roster this morning, has drawn interest from several #CFL teams over the past few weeks. He chooses Winnipeg. Was a third-round pick of the #AlsMTL in 2017.
