Gainer gets another (fan approved) makeover

There’s another new Gainer in town, sort of.

On Canada Day, the Riders introduced a new look to their beloved mascot Gainer and the reaction brought about outrage in Riderville.

During Week 4, the Riders played a video pre-game showing Gainer getting ready for the match up against Calgary. He still had his new shoes, his jersey and then he looked at his box of “green contact lenses.”

They ended up in the trash.

Needless to say, the locals are no longer restless about the look of their furry friend.
