Riders’ Jordan Reaves suffers season-ending injury

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have lost defensive lineman Jordan Reaves for the entire 2019 season.

It’s been a rough couple days accepting my season ending injury. I’ve come to terms with the injury but am not at peace with not being on the field going to war with my brothers. My coaches, teammates and Rider staff have shown me nothing but love and I’m beyond grateful for them

Reaves suffered a knee injury on day two of training camp and had to be helped off the field. The 29-year-old has played in 22 games for the Riders making 14 special teams tackles, including 12 last season.

Reaves is a vital special teams contributor Saskatchewan will have to find a way to replace.
