There are a trio of teams who have shown interest in recently-released linebacker Solomon Elimimian, according to TSN’s Farhan Lalji.
Hearing #TiCats #Argos #Riders have some interest in Elimimian. He obv has a good relationship with Ham DC Washington. All teams have age/injury concerns. Biggest challenge is timing, teams have minimal cap space, would have been different if he was cut pre free agency @CFLonTSN

The 32-year-old Elimimian had played nine years in Vancouver but suffered a wrist injury that limited him to just four games last season. He took a pay cut before the 2018 campaign to stay in B.C. and has been a West all-star four of the last six seasons, most recently in 2017. He’s been the league’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player twice and was named CFL MOP in 2014.
Elimimian has made 745 tackles, 36 special teams stops, 29 sacks, eight interceptions and right forced fumbles in 118 career games.
There are eight potential landing spots for Elimimian, some more likely than others.
