The Montreal Alouettes have signed running back Jeremiah Johnson.
Johnson has played six seasons in the CFL, one with Toronto, two in Ottawa and three most recently on the West coast as a B.C. Lion. He had 941 total offensive yards and five touchdowns in 13 games during the 2018 season.
The 31-year-old has 572 career carries for 3,151 yards and 33 rushing touchdowns to go with 162 catches for 1,415 yards and five touchdowns.
Montreal adds a veteran player to the backfield to pair with William Stanback who emerged late in the season last year.
