Bombers agree to contract extension with kicker Justin Medlock

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have agreed to a two-year contract extension with kicker Justin Medlock the team announced this morning.

Medlock has played in 128 games over his eight-year career with Toronto, Hamilton and Winnipeg and has connected on 86 per cent of his field goals. In his three seasons with the Bombers, Medlock has mad 158 of 185 field goals (85.4 per cent)  and hit a remarkable 140 of 141 converts.

Last season, Medlock made 42 of 47 of his field goals attempts (89.4 per cent) and was the only kicker in the league to be perfect on convert attempts (52 of 52). He also led the CFL with 13 punts inside an opponent’s 10-yard line.

Medlock was set to become a free agent in February.
