Bo Levi Mitchell to work out for the Minnesota Vikings

Reigning CFL Most Outstanding Player Bo Levi Mitchell is going to work out for the Minnesota Vikings on Wednesday according to TSN’s Davis Sanchez.

Mitchell was 24-for-36 passing for 253 yards with two touchdowns in the Calgary Stampeders 27-16 Grey Cup win and was named the game MVP.

During the regular season, Mitchell quarterbacked the Stamps to a 13-5 record, throwing for 5,124 yards while leading the CFL with 35 TD passes despite seeing his receiving corps turn over drastically due to injuries. The 28-year-old is a pending free agent.

Mitchell captured his second CFL MOP award in 2018 to go along with the one he won in 2016 making him just the ninth multiple winner in CFL history. He’s also the second-youngest to accomplish the feat as Jackie Parker won his second in 1958 at age 26.
