Argos extend Canadians Anthony Coombs and Linden Gaydosh

The Toronto Argonauts have inked running back and receiver Anthony Coombs and defensive lineman Linden Gaydosh to contract extensions.

Coombs through the 2019 season and Gaydosh 2020.

Coombs was drafted third overall by the Argos in the 2014 CFL Draft. He’s spent his entire CFL career in Toronto playing 53 career games rushing 38 times for 194 yards with one touchdown while catching 170 passes for 1,539 yards and four touchdowns. The 26-year-old was limited to just two games in 2018.

Gaydosh was the first overall pick in the 2013 CFL Draft, chosen by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. The 27-year-old signed with Toronto in August 2017 when he played 11 games making nine tackles and three sacks. Gaydosh returned in 2018 to play 14 games.

Overall, Gaydosh has played in 35 games making 16 defensive tackles and three sacks.
