Riders acquire Phil Blake, Patrick Lavoie from Alouettes

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have acquired national offensive lineman Philip Blake and national wide receiver Patrick Lavoie from the Montreal Alouettes.

Going back the other way is national wide receiver Josh Stanford and the Riders second-round pick in the 2020 CFL Draft.

Blake, 32, was originally selected by the Alouettes in the third-round (23rd overall) of the 2011 CFL Draft and has started 57 games in four seasons with Montreal. He also spent three seasons with the Denver Broncos after being taken the 4th round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

Lavoie was originally selected by the Alouettes in the second round of the 2012 CFL Draft and has 138 receptions for 1,264 yards and seven touchdowns in 115 career regular-season games with Montreal and Ottawa
