The Saskatchewan Roughriders have placed Canadian linebacker Micah Teitz on the six-game injured list while activating defensive back Matt Elam.
Elam missed one game with a hamstring injury. Teitz suffered an injury in the Riders Week 15 win against Toronto.
Elam has played in six games making 22 tackles, two sacks and one interception since signing with the Riders in July. He’s a versatile player who played strongside linebacker for Saskatchewan earlier in the season.
Teitz was selected in the second round, 14th overall of the 2018 CFL draft and been a key special teams player for the Riders making seven tackles in 11 games on teams.
