Multiple media types in Regina are reporting that Saskatchewan Roughriders receiver Namaan Roosevelt will miss Sunday’s game against the Montreal Alouettes.

Chris Jones confirms that Naaman Roosevelt (knee) is out for precautionary reasons for Sunday's game vs. #alouettes. It's expected that Kenny Shaw will fill in at SB for the #riders.

Roosevelt is the team’s leading receiver with 570 yards and second on the team in catches with 48.
Shaw was a 1,000-yard receiver with Toronto in 2016 but played in only three games for the Redblacks during an injured-plagued 2017, making six catches for 66 yards. He was released in April and signed to the Riders’ practice roster on Aug. 22.
The game in Montreal is a key one for the Riders as they try and close the gap on first place Calgary while also trying to secure a home playoff date in the tight West Divison.
