The 30-year-old was placed on the six-game injured list after he suffered a torn ACL in an Aug. 24 loss to the Saskatchewan Roughriders but there had been some speculation he could try and return this season.
Arceneaux has played in nine games this year and was leading the team in receptions (32) and yards (553) at the time of his injury.
The Lions have won three straight to improve to 6-6 and travel to Hamilton to take on the Ticats on Saturday.
