If Travis Lulay didn’t have bad luck, he’d have no luck at all.
The B.C. Lion’s quarterback was injured on the team’s first offensive series against Montreal after he was hit by veteran Alouettes’ defensive end John Bowman. Lulay lay on the turf in obvious discomfort before leaving the field with his left arm immobilized by a member of the training staff.
Lulay’s injury history is well documented, including shoulder issues, a torn knee ligament and a headshot that drove him from the game last week against Ottawa.
Jon Jennings replaced Lulay and threw a touchdown on his first pass of the night to give B.C. a 7-0 lead.
But man, Lulay…
