Jones wore the Riders’ Diversity is Strength shirt.

“It’s an important message for our league and our commissioner and the governing body they think very strongly of the diversity program and it stands for something really good and something that I believe in too,” Jones said.

Saskatchewan’s bench boss might be sporting green on a regular basis after the victory over the Stampeders.

“That’s what the players were telling me,” Jones said. I wore the CFL shirt that they give us for the diversity and so now I’ve got to wear it every week.”
