Green Cast: hot dogs, a loss in Edmonton and TO

Joel Gasson decided to let John Fraser return to the 3Down Green Cast for Pile O’Bones Brewing this week after last week’s guest host Justin Dunk violated the show’s rules by drinking a smoothie during recording.

This week, Joel and John discuss proper hot dog condiments (it is a bye-week afterall) after a tweet from the one and only fakeGainer got CFL Twitter going. If there’s one thing CFL Twitter loves, it’s a good food debate. Joel also shares his thoughts on ketchup, which John thinks might be the hottest take on the show yet.

In actual football stuff, Joel and John talk about just how good the Rider defence is, how the offence cost them that game in Edmonton. They also share their thoughts on the reported signing of defensive back Loucheiz Purifoy and Chris Jones appearing at a work out with recent pro-football hall of fame inductee Terrell Owens.

In their look around the league, Joel and John discuss Johnny Manziel’s and McLeod Bethel-Thompson’s respective CFL debuts. Spoiler: one went well, the other did not.
