Ticats trade former CFL all-star DB Abdul Kanneh to Argos

The QEW rivals have made a trade as the cutdown deadline looms.

Hamilton sent defensive back Abdul Kanneh to Toronto for an eighth-round selection in the 2019 CFL Draft.

The 27-year-old played in seven games making 17 tackles, two sacks, forced one fumble and knocked down one pass with the Ticats last season after signing in 2017 free agency. Kanneh won a Grey Cup with Ottawa in 2016 where he played three seasons with the Redblacks.
