Saskatchewan Roughriders Canadian offensive lineman Jeremy Zver has retired.
Zver joined the Riders in July last season. He was a second round, 16th overall pick in the 2017 CFL draft by the B.C. Lions. After spending the first week of the season on B.C.’s injured list, the Leos wanted to send Zver down to their practice roster, but he declined which made him a free agent.
The 24-year-old was a highly regarded dual-sport athlete coming out of the University of Regina.
